NO MORE 'LUDO' WELCOME 'SIMO' TO RELENTLESS

Once well known in the CoD scene by many as ‘Ludo’, Relentless head of Esports Operations has finally decided to rebrand as ‘Simo’ after over 10 years signifying a new start in his career alongside joining the main Relentless team early this year.

Now ‘Simo’ has been competing within the CoD scene since Advanced Warfare taking part in challenger cups and competitive leagues throughout the years. His competitive background has been very beneficial towards other paths such as coaching and now Head of Esports, using his past knowledge and skills to guide the organisation and teams in the best direction.

Alongside being a player, ‘Simo’ has also been an esports organisation owner giving guidance and support to many competitive teams within the scene. His passion for the business growth within the esports sector allowed him to build powerful and beneficial connections with other like minded individuals. Realising this was the direction he wanted to pursue, he parted ways with the org early 2026 to come to Relentless.

 

Here are some of the answers ‘Simo’ gave when interviewed about his new arrival.

Why did you decide to move to Relentless? 

 

“Better prospects and visions within esports. It has a higher ceiling than the previous org I was with and the goals mutually line up between Relentless and myself.

 

What are your plans of action now that you have been given the Head of Esports Operations role? 

 

“I plan to use all my skills, knowledge and experience to carry the org forward to achieve the desired goals. I want to help the org expand within all the esports scenes within and outside of Call of Duty.

 

Coming from Call of Duty, how are you going to approach the other esport scenes? 

 

“I will develop my knowledge within these new scenes, taking time to do my own personal research and gain experience to make the best decisions possible. Alongside this, I will communicate with the rest of the Relentless team and those with the best mind within these games.

 

After being interviewed, ‘Simo’ thanked the org for the opportunity and is excited to foresee the future of the org.
